Blog problems?

I've heard from some people that they like the new format, particularly that the header doesn't scroll off the end of their screen. But others say they see the header and purple border, but none of the text. I don't know what to do about that yet. I'll try fussing with some settings when we get back from curling this afternoon, but I suspect it is beyond my understanding of the widgets system. (I'm going curling and Tom is going along to cheer me on.)
