CInnabun and Steeks

posted Tuesday, 14 February 2006

Cinnabun enjoyed her stay - at least she enjoyed eating finch food treats.  But she is back out with the flock today.  I have crocheted up the arm scrys for the steeks.  I'll carefully cut between the two lines of crochet.

And here is me cutting - it is very nerve-wracking.  And I'm not real pleased with how well the crochet is holding.  The baby alpaca yarn is very slippery.  Maybe I should have reinforced with hand stitching - and I may do that anyhow.

And more cutting, one strand at a time.

This is the result, the arm band is on, but the shoulders aren't joined yet.  On to the other arm, then the middle.
