I updated the Cape Cod Curling Club's website (I'm webskip). 2004-05 officers and committee chairs are listed. There is also lots of info about the Youth Curling Camp our club hosts in July. If you have been curling a year, are between 10-20 years old, and are going to be around Cape Cod July 18-20, consider this GNCC sponsored camp. There is more info, registration document, and lots about our curling club at the CCCC website. www.capecodcurling.org
The new hens went out into the run and later outside for a graze and - more importantly - came back inside the run when I said grazing time was over, without too much fuss. Not bad!
Tom made a raised bed for an perennial herb and low-growing annual flower garden. We went to the nursery to buy herbs . Also bought two Leyland Cypruss that will help screen the chickens from the hawks when they are out grazing. We just beat the rain - but the herbs aren't planted yet, much less the holes dug for the trees. But the iris in the fish ponds are starting to bloom, three are open and 20 or so more are waiting to pop!
