Blizzard on the way

posted Saturday, 11 February 2006
We are hunkering down for a nor'easter that shows promise of being a blizzard.

Just in time for all the mess, a Boston weatherman has started a neat service forecasting Cape Cod weather.
This is the article about Todd Gross from the Cape Cod Times, with links to his web site on our local weather.  He also has an email alert system.  I subscribed to the trial version and am already very impressed.

So his prediction is that the snow will start between 8:00-10:00pm, several inches by dawn, continue through the morning, heaviest between noon and 3:pm tomorrow.  Total accumulation of over a foot and less than 16".  Which probably means no Fiber Folk meeting tomorrow afternoon, the dinne out we had planned is iffy and who knows about curling on Monday.

But maybe Tom will get to try out his new, unused snoblower!
